Garner Hotel Phoenix - Surprise By Ihg, Surprise

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms were clean, but the setup was a bit confusing with one King bed, a pull-out, and a rollaway leading to an additional charge. However, the room itself was impressively clean despite looking worn and in need of refreshing. The service was friendly, but they made mistakes with reservations and once even locked me out of my room for three hours. The location was convenient, close to amenities and a park for walking pets, but the surroundings were not particularly impressive. The dining options were mediocre, especially the carb-loaded breakfast, and the facilities could use some improvement, although they were functional overall.

The hotel is convenient for me and has a nice location, though it can be challenging to exit and access the main road due to heavy traffic. The service was excellent, but there was a surprising extra charge for a late checkout request. The dining experience was okay but lacked some meat options. The rooms were extremely clean, although there was a musty smell and the bathtub needed attention.
